History: Born in the north to a Cook, Lewis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. He became a Cook soon after.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Harbek was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When Harbek reached his early adolescence his Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
