She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shifting grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food.
