History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tiefling companion (her 'brother'). She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: Leshanna was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. Through the years after Leshanna was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Leshanna's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, she put together a working one.

History: Born in the south to a Farmer, Veloptima learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Farmer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Farmer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
