Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Charles isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He is mildly Tabaxi supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born in a small forest village. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. After a long history of fighting, Ethereal and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. At some point she was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and many brigands want her driven away

History: Merla lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student she started as a Barrister, but she got bored and became a Locksmith. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her parents enrolled her in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that she could practice her druidic talents. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and she feels kind of lost in life
