Through the years after Shanairla was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Shanairla's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. She moved out east to avoid the crime she committed. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: Seeks redemption.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
