History: He was born in the south. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She got into the Bather business at a young age. Her first spouse was a Navigator, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and regain custody of her son

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'9" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He tends to wear a black poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He sports a flattop hair cut. His half smiles and black eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty green coat over it. Her gold crest is greasy and uncared for. Her gold eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: He is a physically imposing dark-skinned man. He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. His hair is chestnut and curly. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
