History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Hatae was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Weaver they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Sailor, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. After a long history of fighting, Keyleth and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Marshal born in the past three hundred years. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. A gifted student he started as a Scribe, but he got bored and became a Marshal. He has taken up work as a Marshal and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and to unite with his sister

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep brown leather and dull grey iron scale mail. Her long black hair reaches down to her waist. Her green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Urshar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and someone believes her a fraud
