History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Anthony's homeland. Anthony decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Gardener. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Gardener for the past few years.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and revenge
