History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She found a children's book about a Half-Orc Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. After a long history of fighting, Volen and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Beatrice was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Beatrice abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: She was born in the west. Her childhood dream was to be a Barrister, but she was a colossal failure. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Miner for the past few years.
