History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Sammal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Gerald never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
