Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her first spouse was a Detective, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mary grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is her passion.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he dresses like a well dressed Map Maker does. His black hair is greasy and uncared for. He has several tiny ruby earrings on each ear.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Map Maker arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she dresses like a well dressed Detective does. Her head has been shaved. Her brown eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Dee was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Detective for hire.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: She is a mite stocky and wears a grey tunic with tan highlights, and long pastel pants that bunch up around her shoes. Her blonde hair is still thick. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She hates Humans with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she feels threatened by others
