Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. After a long history of fighting, Gildmak and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Peter hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has worked as a Layabout like her mother before her.
