History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Dalgal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dalgal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Balifra hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her.
