He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born in the east to a Carter, Qualen learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the east were limited. He struck the Carter job and began his own company from there.
