History: Born in the north to a Fletcher, Forcas learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She hates giants. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. The war was a terrible time for her, and Perra does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it
