History: Berrian lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Barrister for hire.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he feels threatened by others

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Elizabeth is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born in the south. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He is a Jackalwere in disguise. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and wants his loneliness to end
