History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Elysande was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Carter. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 6 years.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Half-Orcs.

History: Mûglûk lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Mûglûk alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.
