She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Malquis and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Gilkass was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
