History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Roland was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. Chaedi is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.
