History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Through the years after Mary was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Mary's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
