When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: Conrad wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Barbarian, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Conrad grew up listening to his mother's many stories. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.
