History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Dariff alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Dariff was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
