Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lance fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born to a Apothecary, his father struggled to pay the bills. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Anthony hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
