Description: A middle-aged man, he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, and is pretty ugly. He wears his black hair down. His eyes are silver and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Miner arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Miner for the past few years.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He wears his golden hair up. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Norûk is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Norûk lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.

She has done her best to style her brown hair to look like a famous performer. Her eyes are brown and catlike.

Personality: She is a Soapmaker first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Description: She is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Description: He wears baggy grey pantaloons and a blue scarf. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. He keeps his long silver hair kept up in a rat tail. His green eyes peer out from beneath his small grey hat.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Roofer who has hired him part-time. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and wants a kiss
