History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Through the years after Shanairla was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Shanairla's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Shanairla and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ivellios was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
