Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Joan was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war.
