Her father taught her the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Farideh alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Purson never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
