History: The child of a Blacksmith, who enjoyed hunting, Ernest was taken on many hunting expeditions. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Berrian was born with his father's beautiful face. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and wants to work out more often

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Eggren liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Revenge; and someone believes him a fraud
