History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying east to reunite her family. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Art was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: The child of a Carter, who enjoyed hunting, Flask was taken on many hunting expeditions. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Barber work with an outfit from a few towns over. Barber work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
