History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Alex alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying south to reunite her family.
