History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shanairla grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. During her travels, Shanairla and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Shanairla discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Shanairla fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 6 years.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.
