After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
