History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now owns his own business.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Beatrice was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.
