History: The child of a Baker, who enjoyed hunting, Veloptima was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tiefling conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.
