He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
