Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: The child of a Fisher, who enjoyed hunting, Baern was taken on many hunting expeditions. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care.
