Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Helen is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Pikar embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Pikar grew up listening to his father's many stories. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
