Description: Her left side is far more bruised and cut up than her other. She is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. She has no hair. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Anakis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Anakis. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Description: This man wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. With bright auburn hair and a scraggly beard. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: She is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. She has styled her copper crest well, parting it to the left. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Jheri was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bucklal embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. After a long history of fighting, Bucklal and his spouse have recently divorced.
