Description: A middle-aged woman, she dresses like a well dressed Layabout does, and is pretty ugly. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her eyes are hazel and catlike.
Personality: Portia wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.
History: Gifted from a young age, Portia studied abroad. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Henry was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Stableman. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: She appears as an extremely gaunt Dwarf, and stands approximately 4'3". She wears a grey wide-brimmed hat and grey clothes, and her gloved hand is found clutching a spear. Her red hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are green.
Personality: Oriff hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.
History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to reunite with her old friends

Description: He is an average looking eastern male in his early mid-life. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. His brown eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: Halimath was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. Being a Fisher kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: He is a physically imposing dark-skinned man. He wears baggy grey pantaloons and a white scarf. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Tiefling culture. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sailor for hire.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and balancing his hectic life and new sailor responsibilities is difficult
