History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Avelina has worked very hard to control her curse. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Mardred was born with her father's beautiful face. At some point she was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Mardred was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright.
