History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kerkad grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was born into a rich family. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. Being a Mercenary kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
