She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in the north to a Sage, Halander learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She's attracted to the PC; and wishes to resurrect an old love

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: He was born into a rich family. Edge was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Edge decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
