History: Jade was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jade grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jade. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Elysande was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
