He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Pallabar never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Shamash hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Shamash was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
