History: Symma was born with her father's beautiful face. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to drow.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Being a Assassin kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and revenge

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Mortician but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Beiro alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sculptor. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
