Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright yellow and grey, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her eyes are likewise green.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She has all her life been fascinated with writing.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Scrag lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Scrag grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Scrag. He became a Fisher soon after.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His blonde hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and a rival would like him out of the picture
