History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. After a long history of fighting, Azaki and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Cloak was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His first spouse was a Stableman, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.
