History: Portia was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She's also a talented Cook, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. Sporting a golden mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tanner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Cockaby grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
