Description: This eastern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears a tan cloak and cross-gartered brown stockings. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Her eyes are likewise blue. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Hatae is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Hatae was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature axe.

His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Flame and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born to a Mason, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Junk Dealer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.
