Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Vani's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She comes from a rich western family. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Naamah was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and balancing her hectic life and new miner responsibilities is difficult

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears yellow trousers with violet and blue striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. His golden hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He has several tiny ruby earrings on each ear.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. The war was a terrible time for him, and Richard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Richard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he's looking for his big break
